Mr. Ravi B. Goyal, Chairman & Managing Director
Mr. Ravi B. Goyal, after a brief stint as an engineer with DCM Computers, established a proprietary concern in the name of Advanced Graphic Systems in 1992 to market computer-aided textile designing software for Computer Design Inc, USA. In 2002 he went on to establish the Company which engages in providing products and services in the Banking, Petroleum, Retail and Colour sectors. He has been instrumental in tying up with global suppliers such as Wincor Nixdorf to provide products to customers in various sectors in which our Company is operating.
Mr. Amitabh Jaipuria, CEO - Banking Business
Amitabh is a senior and well known business leader with over 23 years of experience across various leading multinational and Indian organizations.In his last role, till the end of February 2013, he was the Managing Director for Monsanto India Limited (MIL) – the listed entity of Monsanto in India. He held this role for over 5 years. In this role, he was responsible for leading MIL towards its multiple goals, which included Entity, Business, People and Stakeholder management.
Amitabh’s rich experience of over 23 years is also extremely diversified and varied, spread across various business sectors, business cycles, markets and companies in India – from Durables and FMCG to Services and Agriculture; from startups to growth and stable businesses; from large Indian business houses to giant MNCs.
With a Bachelors Degree in Physics from Ruia College and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from XLRI, Amitabh started his career in 1989 with Blow Plast Ltd (India’s leading luggage, furniture & toys manufacturer) where his decade long experience provided him strong a grounding in sales & marketing. In 1998, he moved to GE Lighting where he successfully headed the sales & marketing efforts for both industrial and consumer segments. He then joined Reliance Infocomm in 2002 as the Business Head for wireless phone services for Mumbai circle. In this capacity he led the service roll out & took the business from start-up to stability and profitability in 3 years. In 2005, he moved on to PepsiCo as the Executive Director for the Western Market Unit, where he was the head of the overall beverage business - including manufacturing, finance, HR, sales, franchise operations and marketing. Amitabh has led large teams of over 1000 people in many of his assignments.
Mr. V. C. Gupte, Head – Colour Business
Mr. V. C. Gupte spearheads the Colour Business division at AGS and has built AGS as a market leader in the colour matching business. Mr. Gupte has played a crucial role in establishing GretagMacbeth /AGS Colour Science Laboratory at UICT. Being a renowned colourist, he was instrumental in cementing AGS’ alliances with the top companies in Colour business. He is a postgraduate in Colour Physics and has done a course in Advanced Colour Technology from Rensaeller Polytechnic Institute, New York, USA. Mr. Gupte has over 41 years of work experience in colour application in various colour industries and has worked in various capacities in reputed organisations such as Wool Research Association, Mafatlal Group, Milton Roy, USA before joining AGS.
Mr. Anand Agarwal, Group CFO
Mr. Anand Agarwal has over 17 years of work experience in Finance & Accounts, Treasury & Cash management, Funds Management & Investment, Planning & Strategy, Business Advisory and Investment banking. He is a chartered accountant, company secretary, ICWA and a certified financial analyst. Mr. Anand Agarwal has worked in leading organizations such as Reliance Money, ITC, Reliance Industries and AV Birla Group.
Mr. George Trelawney, Director – Delivery
Mr. George Trelawney heads the service delivery domain for our ATM outsourcing business. He joined the AGS core team with 27 years of banking domain experience in banking IT related, Payments / ATM / Cards / ATM Switch space / ATM Outsourcing. To his credit, he has managed large projects like setting up of India’s National Financial Switch, migration of live Data Center for Euronet - Indonesia, takeover of entire ATM network from banks in India and abroad. He has successfully led software development of cash management software and ATM diagnostic tool (patent registered in the US). He is a graduate and is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
Mr. Stanley Johnson, President - Managed Services
Mr. Stanley Johnson is at the helm of managing the Managed Services business of banking business vertical. He has more than 15 years of work experience both domestic and internationally in the electronic payments services industry. Mr. Stanley Johnson has exhaustive domain knowledge of payment products and a comprehensive understanding of the ATM, Prepaid & Debit Card businesses, electronic banking and technology in banking. In his previous role at FIS, he was the head of sales, operations and logistics in India. He was responsible for managing the operations organisation for the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT), Logistics for ATM Outsourcing and Sales for ATM Outsourcing / Switching / Prepaid card Program/Debit card Program and overseeing all support requirements for the operations function Mr. Stanley Johnson is a bachelorette in Science from University of Bombay and has also attained Masters in Computer Applications.
Mr. Surya Prakash Singh, Head - Retail Business
Mr. Surya Prakash Singh heads the Retail Business Vertical and has more than 19 years of work experience. Under his leadership, our Company moved from merely box selling to a ‘Solution provider’ company by introducing unique, innovative products within a very short span of time. He is an engineering graduate in Instrumentation and Computer Technology from Mumbai University. Prior to joining our Company, he has worked with HCL Infosystems Ltd as a Zonal Manager.
Mr. Bhupinder Rana, President - Petroleum Business
Mr. Bhupinder Rana joined our Company at the inception of the Petroleum Division focussing at providing automation solutions to Indian petroleum industry. Under his leadership, our Company has grown manifolds in the Petroleum Retail division. He is an engineering graduate in electronics, having over 20 years of experience in the Indian IT industry across projects with the Public Sector, Defence, Aerospace and Oil and Gas sectors. Prior to joining our Company he held the position of Regional Director Systems & Technology at Unisys India. Mr. Bhupinder Rana began his career with Tata Unisys (Tata Infotech). His association of 12 years with Unisys witnessed important contributions to the company businesses in India and SAARC countries.
Mr. Satish Zope, Sr. Vice President - Petroleum Business
Mr. Satish Zope heads the sales and marketing of Petroleum Supply Chain Management & Retail Automation Solutions division in our Company. He has 21 years of experience in Retail and Supply Chain Management Technology. Prior to joining our Company, he was the head - business development of Mountain Technologies and Processbiz Technologies Inc. In his past roles he was responsible for managing a growing demand of data warehouse and CRM solution across Retail and Telecom industry and played a significant role in a number of leading innovative projects. He has been instrumental in bringing and introducing new technologies to Indian market. He is a commerce graduate from Rajasthan University and also has a Masters Degree in Business Management from University of Pune.
Capt. Partha Samai, Group Head - HR
Capt. Partha has over 14 years of experience in Human Capital Development, Organisation Development, Strategic HR, Talent Acquisition, General Management and Training. A graduate from Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, he was Commissioned in the Indian Army as Second Lieutenant, in the Regiment of Artillery. He has also completed his post graduation in MA (Economics) and MBA (Human Resources) from India’s Premier institutes Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics and Symbiosis, Pune respectively. During his tenure with the Indian Army, Capt. Partha held various positions of responsibilities including being an instructor in India’s only Nuclear Biological & Chemical Warfare School and is an expert in NBC warfare and survival techniques. Prior to joining our company, Capt. Partha had served with Tikona Digital Networks Mumbai, Tata Teleservices Limited in Kolkata and Bharti Airtel in Port Blair. He is certified Six Sigma Green Belt from Motorola University. He has completed various projects on HR, Sales & Customer Service.
