Mr. Ravi B. Goyal, Chairman & Managing Director
Mr. Ravi B. Goyal, Chairman & Managing Director is the promoter of our company. After a brief stint as an engineer with DCM Computers, Mr. Ravi B. Goyal established a proprietary concern in the name of Advanced Graphic Systems in 1992 to market computer-aided textile designing software for Computer Design Inc, USA. In 2002 he went on to establish the Company which engages in providing products and services in the Banking, Petroleum, Retail and Colour sectors. He has been instrumental in tying up with global suppliers such as Wincor Nixdorf to provide products to customers in various sectors in which our Company is operating.
Mr. Badrinarain Goyal
Mr. Badrinarain Goyal, holds an electronics diploma and has over 45 years of experience in various fields such as industrial electronics, electro-medicals, instrumentation, noise and vibrations and air-conditioning and refrigeration. As on date, Mr. Badrinarain Goyal successfully runs his own electronics firm in the name of Goyal Electronics Industries.
Mr. S. P. Chaudhry
Mr. S.P. Chaudhry is a mechanical engineer from Regional Engineering College, Jaipur and MBA graduate from University of Hull, UK. He has also undergone advanced management training programme from Kellogs School of Management, USA. He has a varied professional exposure of three decades across entire spectrum of petroleum marketing functions like Retail, Consumer Sales, Lubes, LPG, ERP and International Operations. During his tenure in HPCL, Mr. S.P. Chaudhry has also held the position as an Executive Director on the Board of HPCL promoted wholly owned subsidiary, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Refineries Ltd. from May 2004 till its conversion to a JV company in 2007. During his assignment as Executive Director (Retail), HPCL from 2002 to 2009, he has been responsible for changing the retail face of the business at a time when petroleum marketing in India was undergoing radical changes. Among several awards and recognitions Mr. S.P. Chaudhry was conferred with ‘Reid and Taylor Retail Excellence Award’ at the Asia Retail Congress Summit 2008 held at Mumbai in January, 2008 for his professional contribution.
Mr. Sudip Bandyopadhyay
Mr. Sudip Bandyopadhyay is a qualified CA and a Cost Accountant, with over 22 years of experience in various areas of finance and financial services. He has worked with reputed organizations like Reliance (ADA Group), ITC, ICI and HLL. Mr. Sudip Bandyopadhyay is now heading Convexity Solutions as MD and CEO. He was instrumental in leading Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s foray, amongst others, into Equity and Commodity Broking, Financial Products Distribution, Commodity Exchanges, Gold Coin Retailing, Money Changing and Money Transfer. During Mr. Sudip Bandyopadhyay’s 17 years stint with ITC, amongst others, as head of Treasury and Strategic Investments, he managed one of the largest Corporate Treasury of the country and investments in excess of Rs. 4000 crores. He was responsible for the acquisition of strategic stakes in EIH, VST and several other companies by ITC.
Mr. Manas Tandon
Mr. Tandon holds an M.B.A., The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and B.Tech, Indian Institute of Techonolog. He joined TPG Growth in 2010 and was the Vice President at Matrix India before that . Prior to this, he was the Director of Strategic Marketing at Camiant in Marlboro, MA and before that, Senior Manager of Product Management at Narad Networks. Mr. Tandon started his career at Cisco Systems. Thus he brings an extremely diversified and varied experience to the Company.
Mr. Vish Narain
Mr. Vish Narain holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University and a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi. He has been assisting top tier PE firms with due diligence, financial analysis, fund deployment and has advised Fortune 500 companies in the telecom and financial services sectors on technology, outsourcing, and corporate strategy. Prior to joining TPG Growth in 2007, Mr. Narain was an investor with Bessemer Venture Partners in New York. Previous to that, he was an Engagement Manager in McKinsey's Private Equity Practice in Palo Alto and London. Mr. Narain joined McKinsey from Deloitte Consulting, where he was a Senior Consultant. He serves on the boards of several non-profit organisations, has traveled widely visiting more than 50 countries, and is an amateur musician who plays the sitar. Mr. Vish Narain is currently the Director at TPG Growth.
Mr. Nick Luckock
Mr. Nick Luckock joined Actis in 2010 and is a Partner based in the London office. He plays a leading role in Actis’s global investment origination and execution in the financial services sector. He works closely with XP Investimentos in Brazil and IDFC and AGS in India. Prior to joining Actis, Mr. Luckock was Head of Private Investments at Cambridge Place Investment Management. Previously, Mr. Luckock was a Principal at Apax Partners. He also worked in both Australia and London for The Boston Consulting Group. Mr. Luckock has a BA in History and Politics and a B.Com in Finance from the University of Melbourne and an MBA with honours from INSEAD.
Mr. Mahesh Chhabria
Mr. Mahesh Chhabria has a firm belief in the emerging market growth story and corporate India’s push to go global. He decided to act on this belief by joining Actis which is recognized as a long-standing investor in India with an emerging market sector-based approach to investing both in minority and control deals. Mahesh previously worked at 3i India, where he was a partner in the firm’s Growth Capital Group and the lead partner globally for the Healthcare sector, heading up and contributing to 3i investments in India and international markets. Before making the move to private equity in 2006, Mahesh was co-head of investment banking at Enam, one of the leading domestic investment banks in India. Mahesh holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Since joining Actis in 2010, Mahesh has plunged himself into the business: forging new contacts, and calling upon his existing network to help build value in Actis India-based portfolio.
